Hazlet Hacksaw
Goff may light it up when he gets in there too. If the Rams traded Keenum before the season, Goff would be starting too.
C'mon, Hazlet.
Goff never gave the Rams ANY reason in camp or preseason to believe that he could start opening day which would allow them the luxury of even THINKING about trading Keenum away. Trading Keenum to the Broncos was never a realistic possibility.
In fact, if Keenum had been hurt in preseason, Mannion is the one that would have been our opening day starter. Not Goff.
It pains me to say this, but I think our current best case scenario is that Goff will one day be a franchise QB. Probably for a new Ram HC.
And that's perhaps our best case scenario. Gulp...
What if Goff continues to lag behind Wentz?
Or Fisher is extended and Goff continues to receive kid glove and inferior QB development coaching?
Sigh...
