The business about not trading up makes no sense to me. If we agree that "undersized" players can be good, even great, then they're surely worth trading up for - IF you hit on the pick. And players that turn out average or worse are not worth trading up for, undersized or not.
But Donald is also incredibly athletic for a DT. He ran under 4.7 in the forty, for instance.

Not a good forty, or short shuttle or 3cone for a DB of his size. He did do well with the vert and broad. Both of those are good marks. But, overall, if you go small at DB, he should be a burner.
