The Goff controversy is a red herring. It distracts from reality.

The Rams are not going to win or lose based on whether Keenum or Goff start. They will win or lose based on the Defense playing well and our oline blocking for Gurley.

I don't agree with your 1st sentence, but I totally agree with your 2nd and 3rd sentence.

The way I see it ... the Goff controversy is exclusive to the Defense or the run blocking for Gurley. .... but yes ... I think the Defense and run blocking are the two most important aspects of the team.

The best way to assist the Defense and Running game is for the Qb to be able to convert 3rd down passes. .... keeps the Defense off the field and gives the RB more chances to break the big run.

Keenum can be the guy to convert 3rd down passes. but maybe one day Goff will transcend that.

The best way to make your QB relevant is to have an elite WRs ... an elite Gadget player helps, but not quite as much as an elite WR does.

I want this guy wearing Horns: Jordan Westercamp

the video doesn't show how good his hands really are. I think he can be the next Danny Amendola.... with Chris Carter's hands... and then some.
