The point was not the Browns, they were just the example of who liked him. The point was given what Goff has shown, would be be starting had the Rams taken Wentz and Browns took Goff? But it could be any team that took him. The point is had be gone to a team that couldn't wait, like the Rams are, would be be good enough to do that?
The Browns were just an example. Sometimes I think people here just TRY and misunderstand.

Is Goff rookie-starting material?
We know he's not with the Rams, but there is some arguing that is by design ONLY, that he'd be good enough to start if Rams needed him, if they were not grooming him.
