Get low, listen to Singletary, make the calls for the defense and he will be an outstanding MLB in the NFL.
Stay high, don't bend the hips, try to get by on athletic talent alone, and AO will never reach his true ability. It's all up to AO to decide.
All I know is if Singletary is telling me how to play LB, then I am all ears and running around like a mad dog at practice. Plus, I would know the D forward and backward....NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!!
Yes and no, oldschool.
I mean, Tree is fast and strong. He can certainly repeat the call he gets from GW. And he can learn to "get low".
But can he audible when he sees or hears the QB change a play like J Lau used to do?
Another question is whether Tree has the instincts. And tackling technique for a MLB is more important than maybe when he was outside. So far, I'm underwhelmed.
But he did play MLB some at Georgia, so I'm certainly willing to give him (and GW) the benefit of the doubt.
For now. Lol.
