I really doubt that Coples makes the team.
It is clear now that he can't play DE for the Rams. He's too slow and plodding.
So, they're trying him at DT.
I think he'll be among the first cuts to "give him a chance to catch on with somebody else" (I hope they do the same with Quick).
Easley had a MUCH better game this time out, and is well ahead of Copley.
Westbrooks just gets better and better and so does Longacre.
At DT, on paper, Easley gives you the penetrating 3 technique to spell Donald, and Cam Thomas the NT type to spell Brockers.
Most of the Rams DEs can play inside pass rush. I see no place for Copely as a DT.
