i thought it was curious that coples didnt play until late in the KC game. at least i didnt see him earlier and i believe he played dt exclusively.
Moreover, guys like cam thomas and longacre were playing at the end of the first quarter. Can anything be gleaned from that or are they just moving guys around to see the best fit?

At this point, I think the coaches are tinkering at many position groups.
But I'll say this. I thought Coples was to be rotational depth at LDE. But he hasn't been playing there, really.
Is that because the coaches really like their other DE prospects even better and want to get as much film on them as possible this preseason? I think it could be.
IOW, Coples has to make it at DT or not at all?
For example, how in the world can they let Longacre get away?
