He has been running with the ones on the strength of a fast start in OTAs and his draft position being higher than the rest. But he hasn't translated that practice performance over to the field and it needs to happen tonight. The KC secondary is going to be a tough assignment, but it's time for him to make a couple clutch catches and show what he can do.
Also I agree that this is a big game for the WR depth chart. This is a real test for the offense and some guys are going to rise/fall based on tonight's results. Duke is a guy to watch, no doubt. I've been impressed how he's worked, did not expect him to do well in camp tbh. He is so talented that who knows, maybe he can make a move.
Lastly the defense and their ability to tackle and swarm to the ball will be important early on. KC is very potent on the ground and in short passing, these DBs better be ready to tackle. Hill in particular will get tested there, he's good in coverage just needs to show he can run support to rise on the depth chart under Williams.
