If he's better than Goff or Keenum, he should start. And if he plays well, it might help the Rams recover some of the picks they gave up to get Goff.

I can't see them trading Goff, even if Mannion lights up the stadium. They gave up the farm to get their guy, and his salary likely prevents any trades for the next few years. But Mannion might attract some offers.

The Rams still owe another #1 and a #3 next year. If Mannion could somehow garner a #2 or a #3 -- I know, it's a pipe dream -- it might get them another starter via the draft.
