I was thinking if they were to make a trade, maybe for a veteran proven starter. But they did what they did.
I personally didn't see the sense in the trade myself as they had Sean Mannion on the roster who I personally felt had
the ability they sought.
I hope Sean's star shines so bright this preseason that it makes it very tough on both Fisher and Snead for making that trade.
On the other hand I pray that Goff has a great preseason too.
From what I've seen of Goff I am pretty comfortable with the belief he's going to be a good one.
My guess is that Mannion would have to outshine Goff and Keenum far and away to be the starter.
