I hope that neither Mannion or Keenum just consider themselves placeholders.
I don't care how many draft picks the Rams gave up for Goff, let the best QB play. And it would be wonderful if we had a couple of guys always duking it out for starting time because they are that good. That's how players get better; and it's how teams get better. Plus it builds depth.
