Long time DTV subscriber since 1998. No pay channels.

Called DTV and asked the automated voice for "Customer Retention". Got transferred to NFL Sunday Ticket. Asked again for Customer Retention. Got Nancy from North Carolina and asked for Sunday Ticket MAX for free.

Nancy says that she has not seen the free Sunday MAX yet but here's what she could offer me:

$20 off every month for 24 mos - no contract
$40 off per month for 12 mos - no contract
$50 off per month for 12 mos - WITH a contract extension

I chose $40 off per month plus I asked for free HBO for 3 mos. It does not automatically expire so I will have to cancel once Hard Knocks is over.

THEN she says to call back in a month to see if I can still get NFL Sunday Ticket MAX for free!! Which I will do. YMMV
