that I didn't have to ask to cancel this year. Was heading in that direction when the retention rep said "Wait a minute, let me see what I can do...." and then gave me the discount offers. Also should state that I did *not* get Sunday Ticket Max for free last year - paid half price. So that may have had a factor as well.
She did tell me that Sunday Ticket Max is $375 list price, so the $40x12=$480 more than pays for it, plus the free HBO for Hard Knocks (which starts Aug 9th).
