That has been the norm for decades. What one guy gets is suddenly the standard. Nobody.....NOOOBODY said that was a great or smart contract. Lately, I have been hearing that.... "Well, If Deshaun gets that, Lamar should be right up there! NO HE SHOULDN'T! NEITHER QB has won a Super Bowl or even been a lock for a Division Title!?? Agents / Players.....TEAMS need to get their heads out of the clouds and get real. Too many "standards" out there that are unattainable and NOT realistic when trying to field a T-E-A-M. This is a part of Pro Sports that is really turning a LOT of fans away. Too many Prima Donnas raking in $$$$$$$$ while much better players are making far less.
It has turned the NFL into a whirlwind of Players jumping from team to team to team. I don't want to see the NFL become like the NBA but I think it might be there already.
