Yes, I agree the Rams offense was boring and unimaginative but at that point in the ball game the Dolphins have not moved the ball all day and its the 4th quarter. 13-0 lead is huge at that point.
Problem is Zuerlein missed an easy field goal.
If he makes that the Rams are kicking off and the Dolphins have no momentum.
Going for it on 4-1 and not making the 1st down would have been about the same and there would have been those saying they should have kicked the field goal I guarantee it.
I myself at that point on 4-1 was yelling at the TV "Kick the field goal and get the points!" Little did I know that Zuerlein would choke again.
I agree with everything posted since the game ended about Fisher and the offense in terms of it being awful and unimaginative and playing scared.
But, to me Zuerlein is a huge scape goat in this. That was a makeable field goal. He has no excuse for missing it.
