The big question I'm fielding from some on the podcast is....extending Kyren Williams ....if everything stays on track through the end of this year...do you extend him in March--before he goes into his final year...and if you extend him...How much would you give him 3 at 39-rocks...? Curious to hear thoughts.
I can't see us paying Kyren a big contract at all. Not this year or next year. I think they feel Corum can be just as good and might still be a bit weary about paying a RB big money after what happened to Gurley.
I think if they let him get to his last year, Williams might get some good offers from other teams that the Rams won't match or beat.
I am sure they are already discussing what to do with Kyren already and it will be interesting to see which way they go. As much as I like Kyren, I wouldn't pay him big bucks and if I was Kyren, I might not want to settle for anything less than my Max value.
I make sure Corum gets some playing time so we can tell if he might be capable of being a RB1 in the NFL. If he is, it makes the whole Kyren thing easier to figure out.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
