Tomorrow October 29th is the fifth anniversary of the team dealing CB Aqib Talib along with a draft pick--5/173/2020--to the Dolphins for (draft pick) 7/238/2022 (it was a salary dump when the 2019 season went south)....
On draft day in 2022 the Rams sent that pick--7/238/2022--along with 5/175/2022 to the Raiders to move up to 5/164/2022
Results:
Talib had a cup of coffee with the Dolphins and retired.
The fifth rounder became WR Darnell Mooney
The fifth rounder to the Raiders became Matthew Butler (backup DT)
The seventh rounder the Rams got and sent to the Raiders became OL Thayer Munford.
And...
The fifth rounder the Rams moved up to get in the 2022 draft?
That pick became...
Kyren Williams....and now you know...the rest of the story.
