I still maintain this --- this was not the plan when they gave Jackson the contract. This is an adjustment
based on something .... injuries, or something else. Line calls. Confort level for Avila at center. We don't know.
I always maintained that it was neither good or bad, we don't know. We only can know things after they happen. But McVay is trustworthy
and has earned the right to do whatever he wants.
Jourdan is reporting it may be temporary, but we don't know that either.
Different people have different reactions. The players are not going to say anything negative in front of the cameras. D'marco Farr
has the right to have his opinion, that it is a concern to change this late in camp --- BUT, that does not make him right.
Neither does the fact the McVay is usually right and one of the best coaches around. Success is not guaranteed but neither is failure.
Maybe Jackson knows something about Lions front and what they were doing to prepare for the Rams in playoffs like "We were concerned about Avila, he's a problem" so part of calculus could be put Avila where the Lions were most concerned --- that is just an idea, not anything we know.
