I remain skeptical/concerned about the run defense with Jones' departure and presumably Reeder being inserted.
But as far as the OL, I think they have the coaching, talent, and depth to make things work well. I was all for keeping Avila at LG permanently. As you said, perhaps this is a temporary change for two games. Perhaps not. I don't think Noteboom requires THAT much help that the switch is based on that. I lean more toward the screen game issue mentioned in the article and just Avila's emergence as one of the league's best LG.
