Not a stretch to call Whitt a potential gem at this point, is it?
I'm gonna put the brakes on some of this. Whitt is not going to have the same opportunities Nuka got last year. Then, we were all waiting for Tutu to step up and take the #2 spot, and hoping someone would take the #3 spot after VJ got shipped off. Nuka stepped in and had the opportunity to show what he could do with the Kupp injury. Those windows are closed for Whitt. He's going to get some plays, but he's going to have to be lights out to power past Tutu and Robinson.
"Potential Gem". That's fair, but I don't want to get too excited for a guy that's likely to get fewer looks than Scrow.
