Besides the fact that Phillips was a psycho, I never saw even the slightest hint of greatness as a runner in him that would justify his selection in the first round. The combination of trading Bettis, drafting Phillips, and drafting Eddie Kennison over Marvin Harrison makes it hands down one of the most idiotic off seasons by any team in NFL history.
