That's what QB's do in targeting receivers: find and exploit mismatches, or bump that up to creating mismatches. Why not do it in the trenches?
If the center is the weakest link on an opposing O line, why not put your best rusher on him?
Problem is, you won't get away with much of that with Avila - regardless which gap technique the opposing rusher tries to exploit. He's mobile enough to counter, and flat-out tough, in the anchor he sets, to get around.
Rams could do that with Young and Verse some ... put one of them over the center, see if he can handle it/ They are not Parsons, but it could work.
