That's what QB's do in targeting receivers: find and exploit mismatches, or bump that up to creating mismatches. Why not do it in the trenches?
If the center is the weakest link on an opposing O line, why not put your best rusher on him?
Problem is, you won't get away with much of that with Avila - regardless which gap technique the opposing rusher tries to exploit. He's mobile enough to counter, and flat-out tough, in the anchor he sets, to get around.
