The problem I see is that neither Young nor Verse have much coverage experience and both have the most reps rushing the QB from the right so their favorite moves are from that side. My guess is that BYoung has more experience in his second year and they will need to put him on the left in the pre-season to maximize both player's roles and allow them to rep both strong and weak assignments from their posts.
What I like about this is that both hold up well in the running game setting the edges. What I don't like is that the Rams may get killed with short passing games taking advantage of both OLB's being weak in coverage. It's the problem they had with Hoecht. He was fine as an edge defender and somewhat effective on screens, but TE's and RB's abused him regularly. Now, both Young and Verse are quicker and more athletic, but they both have a ton of work to do with technique so it may take half the season to see if this defense can gel through the transition.
