Ramgator
For RAMS info / updates. Just a quick glance will tell me if it has already been posted. If it has?? WHO CARES?? I simply move to the next thing. I have seen people gripe about a poster posting something..."Talked about numerous times." and find that it was indeed but 2..3 + pages back?? IMO....EVERY Poster on here posts great stuff. Some of it flat out bores me or is just another variation of something posted 100 times. Just how many Mock Drafts do we see?? If I have seen it before or don't care, I mooooove along. NOBODY on here is a "Board / Posting Expert". But there's NO better place to come for Rams News. I stopped going to Main Stream Media sites YEARS ago. I come straight to this Board for what is happening. I appreciate 98% of posts on here and Posters who take the time to share stuff. It's this Board or 5 people screaming on ESPN about Swift and Kelce's latest public viewing.
I agree with Gator. I have zero gripes about all the postings.
I do not want to offend anyone with my opinion but here goes...
Been here a very long time. This topic has been brought up a few times before. It is not a new discussion. I think I remember RamBill even getting criticism for his posting of articles too.
I know how much time and effort it takes to post all these articles and videos and nobody gets paid to do it. Why do they do it? They do it for the fans on this board. To share anything Rams related. They do it for free and out of the goodness of their heart.
Again, no offense meant to the OP or any of the people who replied. We all are allowed to have an opinion and a preference but this topic screams of entitlement and disrespect to all the people who go out of their way to post Rams articles, tweets, instructional posts and vids. I know some might not agree and that is ok with me.
Personally I am thankful to have a site that will have everything I could possibly want to read about my team almost as soon as it is published on the internet. As someone else said: "a one stop shop".
Could it be more organized? Sure, but IMO, there will always be some that do not like it. And that's ok too. If this board is too "watered down" or "cluttered" for some, maybe a different board would be a good option them.
How far do we go with the complaints?
Should articles have their own section?
Should Vids have their own section?
Should threads explaining how offenses and defenses work have their own section?
Should all Draft talk have it's own section?
I mean, where do we stop with the demands? We already have a general section that is used for "general discussions" (Bucky's Pub) should we have another just for "Rams discussions"???
Is it too much to ask for someone to have to click on page 2 or 3 to see more posts??? I mean c'mon. It takes just a second to scroll down and click the next page. lol Why is that so much of an issue?
Maybe the board software should be updated to show more threads one page? Maybe make it all one page! lol Just scroll down to see what you want! lol
As I said, the posters here do this out of the goodness of their heart and ask nothing in return...which is what they get most of the time. Not even a "thank you for posting" by many of the people who read them! lol
As I said. IMO, this screams of entitlement and disrespect to all the people who post these things. 43 and BR with the Articles, Alyo and Dead with all the draft stuff and everyone else who is a contributor.
Thank you to BR and 43 for all the articles no matter how many are posted. IMO, the more the better.
Thank you to Alyo and Deadpool for all the draft stuff that consumes and over takes the board during that time of the year.
Thank you to everyone who adds to this board making it the best board on the internet.
Ok, that's just my .02 cents on the matter.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
