The NFL copycat league has a blueprint for the physical measurements of each position, including Combine athletic scores. Draft outside of those, and the first thought is the drafting team has erred. But, the league is full of players who don't fit that mold and who are terrific. Nakua is one. Turner for another. Williams is too short and too slow. Kupp didn't fit it. And of course, neither did AD.
I hope the NFL retains this blueprint so that teams that determine their players must conform to it keep bypassing good players who don't, leaving some for the Rams to scoop up with later picks. Because essentially that is what Snead is doing.
