He's a special teamer and has hung on in that role, he's 4.4-something and taller and heavier than Tutu. CAn he develop as a returner and situational speedy little wideout? Gotta have a speedy little wideout.
I admire his grit but see Tutu as gone. He's good for - what? - three or four targets a game max, and what does he do the rest of the time? I'd rather see smeone who could lay some wood as a run blocker, and catch over the middle and rub or block for other WR's in pattern.
Skow stays as a proven commodity and team captain. The new guy, Whittington, will be a teamer and an over-the-middle player who can take some of the wear-and-tear plays off of Kupp and Puka. That, plus his ST value, could affect Tutu.
Maybe Snead can trade him to the 'Fins far a future pick where he can join some other former Rams.
I can hear their play-by-play announcer now: "Tua to Tutu!"
