Re: That's why you pick him now.....

The Packers picked Love in 2020.

Love was inactive every game in 2020.

The Packers lost the NFC Championship game that year 31-26.

If I was a Packers fan I would still be sick over that game. All of these guys were available when the Pack picked Love, and any one of them might have resulted in a Packer win that day. ILB Jordyn Brooks, ILB Patrick Queen, LT Isaiah Wilson, CB Jeff Gladney, RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, WR Tee Higgins, WR Michael Pittman Jr.

And yes, 'might' is a powerful word. But a player on the field in that game would undoubtedly have helped more that a player who wasn't even active for the game.

A flyer on Day 3? Sure. Chances are a thousand to one against that QB becoming anything but hey, you never know. But any higher than that? Give me a guy who helps with the immediate goal: winning SB LIX

And given that, why doesn't Bennett fit the bill for now?
