None of these guys know anything until the last minute.
And actually its worse than that.
These guys run their mouths off for months, spewing all kinds of total nonsense, hyping up the wrong guys and ignoring the best guys, and they still have no idea whats gonna happen.
Case in point. I was at the draft in NYC in 2014 sitting in Radio City Music Hall, listening to all the blather on Clowney, Sammy Watkins, Johnny Manziel, Mack, and others. As each of their names were called there was a roar from the crowd in the Music Hall, as these players came out and they flashed them on the big screens all around the place and hugging Goodell.
Then it comes to the Rams pick at #13. They announce Aaron Donald, who wasn't even in NY, and there was silence, and they went on to the next pick. Ho-hum. Nobody cared.
The best freaking defensive player drafted in the past 40 years, and nobody cared, especially the media experts.
Heck I remember talking to a reporter who was at a media desk writing his copy and I asked him what he thought, and he said he really liked what the Browns did. Go look up the busts they got in 2014.
So, I'll stick with my view. Nobody knows anything, especially these media experts.
