I think it's a bad idea to put a ceiling on a guy in a competion. He should be given every chance to be the best he can be. That means the chance to be backup as well as just making the roster. You look at the savings of him being cut, why not look at the savings if he beats out JG. Not that he will beat him out but at the same time I don't get the idea of him being planned to not make it either.

The guy was also thought of as a nothing much when he walked on at Georgia....he ended up with 2 Championships....

To this very day we fans have no idea what was going on with him...lot's of ideas/opinions, but no solid evidence of what it was.
