He wouldn't have been my choice from among the depth QB options, as I preferred the kid who went to the Vikes. But I respect Bennett and what he accomplished at Georgia. I don't think people realize how much resilience it took to do what he did. He is that guy who beats the odds and then proves everyone who doubts him wrong.

So I am not going to discount him. I do think his ceiling is QB2. But a man can make a great living doing that. It's not a bad life and I think it is well within his ability to win a role on this team going forward. Really it's just a question of where his head's at and whether football is a priority for him.
