Everybody agrees that the 2023 draft was a HR. But do you think Rams were just ‘lucky’? I don’t. Some luck, sure, but I think that draft was the residue of a terrific synergy among all involved departments.
Rams just keep getting better at this and I think now are at least a bit ahead of the curve vs other teams when it comes to player evals and near-perfect team fits in their incoming rookies.
Now Snead finds himself with another 11 picks including a 1st while the roster has far fewer holes than it did this time last year.
If my suspicion about Rams being ahead of the curve is correct, then the ingredients for a very good draft are already in place.
I can scarcely wait to see how Rams maneuver throughout this 2024 draft then turn the new rookies over to a crack coaching staff.
