Jaws complained that since his face didn’t look good on a cereal box, he never got a chance in LA. Haden had no business being a legit starting QB, but he did look good on a wheaties box. That Rams brain trust was big on looks. It’s amazing they gave Harris a shot. But he was always looking over his shoulder, never comfortable as the starter.

Namath was a statue in 1977. The LA media called him Young Frankenstein the way he moved. They tried having him rehab in a swimming pool, cause he couldn’t even walk.

What a shame for those teams of the 70's. They had the best lines on both sides in the NFL, but no freaking QB.
