Hmmmm.

From my recliner, when he's healthy, Jimmy G is a legitimate top tier backup NFL QB.

Carson Wentz was the best backup QB the Rams have had in many years.

The Rams history under McVay regarding the value of a backup QB has been horrible.

Up until Wentz, McVay has pissed the bed with his backup QB preferences.

I hoped for Wentz to return as our backup but I get why Carson and his agent don't want to sit the pine for another year.

Carson believes he's still one of the best 32 QB's in the world and is taking a leap of faith something will work out.

Good job McVay. You've finally succumbed to the reality of how valuable a veteran backup QB means to a professional football team in the NFL.
