McVay loves to upgrade any position......It looks like the Rams are in very, very good shape to do just that in FA.
Here's my thought process......
Dotson getting signed is a no brainer, he will be a Ram and with the extra $$$$$ the Rams should get that deal done.
Instead of drafting a C, go get Cushenberry and UPGRADE the middle of your offensive line. Rams can do OLINE in FA.
Now our Oline looks like....Jackson, Avila, Cushenberry, Dotson and Hav's.
OLINE is done in FA.....Now, go get an EDGE and FA is complete!!!!!
