IDK, a smarter more efficient organization? Like Philadelphia? It was time to move on and Ramsey is not the easiest player to trade, plus the Rams wanted to do right by Ramsey and he wanted to go to Miami and they did right by the player.
I get what Coy is saying but I agree with you that they wanted to do right by the player. I have to also believe that there are the little unmeasurable things that may make the difference between a player or coach wanting to join the Rams v. other organizations. In other words, we recoup more than draft capital, we promote a way of doing business that is conducive to securing talent in the future.
