Might be a naive question, but does Stafford have ANY say in this?

I know it's a players job to PLAY and let the front office do their thing, but considering Stafford's age, injury history and his overall well-being, do you think he has the clout to get in Les' and Shawn's ear regarding keeping the OL intact? And would his opinion even matter?
