I once took a job in a situation known as a graveyard for administrators. Throughout the intrview process and my own scouting out the community, it seemed that I could fit their needs in ways previous administrators hadn't, and make a career there. I wa wrong.
As the musical chairs game with a small community of "in crowd" coaches is played, we see many of the same dynamics being played out. Good people want to come here, fit into a positive working, learning, and career community, and then advance and move on.
