... is the Rams securing the coaching hires that the do, when the coaches could have other choices. Some of them would rather come into this culture than possibly go into another.

I once took a job in a situation known as a graveyard for administrators. Throughout the intrview process and my own scouting out the community, it seemed that I could fit their needs in ways previous administrators hadn't, and make a career there. I wa wrong.

As the musical chairs game with a small community of "in crowd" coaches is played, we see many of the same dynamics being played out. Good people want to come here, fit into a positive working, learning, and career community, and then advance and move on.

Other franchises, the successful ones, do much the same thing. And the Rams to it extremely well.
