Let's disparage our own quarterback in the process, even though he's given millions to that city's seriously ill children and still has strong connections to the area.
Maybe call it unintended consequesces, Mr. Arthur? And hopefully a lesson learned: Don't badmouth your former home or employer on the way out unless you're willing to live with the consequences - because you will create them. Worse still, don't do it for somebody else and leave
them to live with the consequences.
You might want to leave a message on Matthew's message machine apologizing for your faux pax and any discomfort it might have caused.
