Personally I would be fine with those guys (or anyone who's comparable, really).

The Rams have done a pretty good job recently getting lesser know guys who come in and perform. Dotson, Witherspoon, and Robinson are prime examples just from last year. (And I would not object if anyone wanted to add Rivers and/or Freeman to that list.)

The scouts the Rams have who look at players from other teams seem to have an eye for undervalued players who fit the Rams needs. I am comfortable letting them do their thing.
