Sean McVay is adding to his coaching staff by bringing in a former member of Mike Vrabel’s group in Tennessee. According to Paul Kuharsky, the Rams are hiring John Streicher as their new coordinator of football strategy.

Previously, Streicher was the Titans’ director of football administration, so this is a new title for him. In Tennessee, he started out as the assistant to the head coach under Vrabel in 2018 and held that position for two years.

In 2020, he was promoted to coordinator of football and held that job for three years before earning the title of director of football administration for one year in 2023.

Streicher was a key member of Vrabel’s staff, helping with in-game decisions and overall game management. He was even handed some head coaching duties in 2021 when Vrabel missed a preseason game due to COVID-19.
