agreed, SF lines dominated most of the game, punt fumble late in the 3rd was huge turning point

SF was stuffing KC all game until that booted punt fumble, it resulted in KC's first TD which came late in the 3rd. that was the huge turning point in that game.

Losing Dre Greenlaw to a freak injury didn't help either... he was SF's top tackler.

That was a great game to watch...

Quoting Jim McKay's quote from "Wide Sports of Sports"..... that game captured the "human drama of sports competition".... "the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat."

that game could've easily gone either way.....

They way SF beat GB and Detroit in the playoffs.... I thought that luck would remain on their side.... that playoff luck ran out on them. KC's road to the SB was much tougher...road playoff wins in Buffalo and Baltimore are never easy.

Like Jimmy The Greek used to say... "tangibles".... KC had those "tangibles" in the playoff run.
