That is over now and I agree I wish the Rams had kept Fassel, but those days are gone. McVay wanted Blackburn to replace Fassel, but Blackburn stayed in Carolina because they were the first to offer him an opportunity. Hopefully, Blackburn can prove worthy of the trust, but we cannot harp on Fassel although he is one of the best special team coaches in the game.
