I still think Puka should be the choice......

February 08, 2024 09:19AM
I know he's a receiver and without the QB getting him the ball he doesn't catch any balls. I know the QB is the king pin to an offense, everything runs through his hands...literally. That said I still think Puka should get the award, as much as it is true that it was Matthew who got him the ball Sooooo much of his play was done AFTER he caught the ball.

He broke the rookie record for yards, but that was because of his YAC, his breaking of tackles, his maneuverability after the ball got in his hands. He broke records that stood for 60 years! He even almost single-handedly led the RAMS in that BS display given by the officials in that lions *&^%$# game.

I see the things that CJ did, and he did lead his team to a playoff game as well...So both players did a lot to get their team to the playoff spot. Where Puka took over IMO is his playoff game vs. CJ's....they got destroyed....we got screwed. (as well as him on that final holding non call).
