Why Fields? He has not at all proven himself in this league despite a lot of starts.
If we go by what he has done thus far, and assume that the Bears are done with him and ready to move on to another Rookie, that's not a glowing recommendation.

And, I suspect we can get a vet QB, or keep Wentz, for less than what Field's rookie contract calls for. I mean the dude will have a $6mil cap number, which is pretty large number for a good back-up, let alone what so far is a failed pick. And, no way the Rams spend anywhere near that for a back-up QB.
