and Ramsey was a locker room cancer, and Peters was a cancer.....so far every story about a player coming from another team and being an issue has fallen flat on it's face. I didn't hear 1 bad thing about the guy when he arrived, I saw him joking and smiling all the time......Sometimes maybe a lot of the time these "stories" are just that. It could also be that the culture on the RAMS erases all those issues.
We went years with dreadful backup QB's , we picked up a guy named Mayfield who was a "washed up" never to be used again guy....what happened with him? IMO Carson is another gem we recovered, a gem in the sense of a backup that can actually start games.....they aren't easy to come by or every team would have one....If we can keep him we are set at the position for another year or 2 at least (with a 2 year deal on him).....Drafting a QB won't become a pressure point of accomplishing in those years, you can get a guy and actually groom him for a year/2.
