but you fail to mention the players he had on the roster to do that.....he had Ramsey. Floyd, AD, Brockers, and other "seasoned" vets.
This team is not full of those type players, and I don't think they are going to go to the $ well to fill the needs they still have on D. They are a very young defense, how does Staley work within those parameters? I don't think you can look back at what he did and bring that to 2024. It also looks to me that the Fanzio (sp?) defense has been pretty well figured out.....
Add to that the seeming fact that Sean is an ever changing, learning type of HC...he likes to soak up ideas. Can Staley bring something new to the table? I don't think so.
You may be right, they may bring him back, I'm in the camp to go a new way, no better time to do that with the D being so young, and a new class coming in to bring a new direction to the D. AD is a young pup again, I'd like to see the fun continue with a new breath of fresh air to the room.
