When on the road, always go for the points you can get. If it's a FG, then take the FG. A FG is going to have a 70-90% chance in the range the Lions were in.

Of course near the end of a game, you do what you have to do.

But don't go for a 50% 4th down conversion in the middle of the 3rd Q and you're up, not when your kicker has a 85% chance to extend your lead.
