McVay likes to go get coaches that challenge him and his own mindset on the game of football.

One thing McVay understands is that this game is in constant motion and change.....You just can't keep sitting on your ideas because other OC/DC coaches will figure you out and that's when you become JAG. I think Staley went through that with the Chargers, and his defense was not the same as it was with the Rams.

My 2-3 ideas are......

1. Jim Leonhard.....He's got experience being a HC and a DC....Just seems like a McVay type of coach.

2. Jesse Minter....Michigan DC.....He may want a change and go somewhere else and not follow Harbaugh to the Chargers....McVay should kick the tires on this guy.

3.Mike Macdonald....Ravens DC.....I know, it's a reach, but he might be ready for a change and the Rams could be the change he's looking for. It's worth a phone call.
