I'd like to see upgrades at LT and C. I think if you do this you then make Jackson and Shelton you're new Noteboom and Allen. Do you go draft for LT or FA? Same with C. Think you need to make a combo on those 2 spots. Whichever spot gets the FA that guy is pencilled in as starter, who he is replacing becomes the backup. Jackson played well as the season went as did Shelton, but IMO those 2 are not in the class of KDot, Avila or Havs....To improve the line those 2 spots need an infusion.....I don't think just having continuity would be a good enough moving forward move.......IF Noteboom takes a paycut, does that actually improve the line? At this point in time I see no need for Allen.....Get a guy like Cushionberry (sp?) in FA...you have the makings of a very stout line....Get a LT in the draft to fight with Jackson....loser becomes the swing guy...You also have McClendon and others from last years bench for added depth.
